An online car auction company aimed to enhance its digital presence and bolster digital sales in response to the evolving landscape of online commerce.
Approach
- Velox delivered Digital Assessment of online domains via concentrating on two main questions:
- How will they serve their customers in near term, what are the quickwins with high impact?
- What will be the long term digital value propositions?
- The project team focused on three main activities to tackle these questions:
- Create a baseline of e-commerce performance against industry benchmarks.
- Assess current customer journeys and identify pain points through our forensic fact based approach and conduct a diagnostic to assess your readiness
- Design the 2020 aspirational customer journeys that deliver an effortless e-commerce experience and align customer need states.
Impact
- Implementation Roadmap (2018-2020) has been put into practice, online user experience (fix fundamentals & develop best practice standards) have been improved, which in return had a substantial effect on engagement metrics.
- Step-change in online product content (product copy and information) had a positive impact on website & app traffic figures.
