Challenge

The company faces declining print advertising revenues without substantial growth in digital revenues. Additionally, product management and the speed of launching new mobile domain products have fallen behind. The continuous pursuit of revenue diversification through investments in new digital domains like e-commerce and classifieds remains a priority.

Approach

  • Definition of a three-year business plan to increase both revenue and EBITDA figures
  • Development of Roadmap for Digital, Print and Classified businesses
  • Formation of cross functional teams to execute roadmap initiatives and regular top management status reporting
  • Exploration of new digital areas to invest, particularly in classified & e-commerce  
  • Building bridge across advertising-content and product management functions and management of IT product development roadmap

Impact

  • Company had a clear three-year business plan, implementation has been continuously monitored and communicated across the company and as a result, it has managed to reach EBITDA targets for the first year of implementation.
